One or more characters participate in a bachelor auction, where dates with single men are sold for charity.

- The Patty Duke Show: Season 2, episode 20, "The Raffle" (1965). Patty raffles off a date with Richard to support the Church Bazaar.
- Cheers: Season 6, episode 8, "Bidding on the Boys" (1987). Rebecca hosts a bachelor auction at Cheers to raise money for charity, and Sam insists on auctioning himself off, convinced he'll bring in the most money. To everyone's surprise, Lilith, angry at Frasier for asking her to sign a pre-nup, wins a date with Sam for her bid of $2,000.
- Night Court: Season 8, episode 4, "Can't Buy Me Love" (1990). Dan and Bull participate in a charity bachelor auction. Dan appoints Roz as his shill, but she gets distracted after she wins the local weather man, and an elderly woman wins Dan instead.
- Seinfeld: Season 5, episode 8, "The Barber" (1993). Elaine hosts a bachelor auction and convinces Jerry to participate, but he gets a bad haircut and backs out because he's too embarrassed, and he recommends Kramer to take his place.
- Frasier: Season 1, episode 14, "Can't Buy Me Love" (1994). Frasier and Bulldog put themselves up for bid in a charity bachelor auction Martin's friend is organizing. When nobody bids on Bulldog, Martin asks Daphne to shill, but she ends up making the only bid and wins. Meanwhile, a beautiful model wins a date with Frasier, but instead she asks him to babysit her daughter.
- NewsRadio: Season 4, episode 10, "Look Who's Talking" (1998). Mr. James is taking part in a bachelor auction, and he asks Beth to bid on him so he sells for a respectable amount. He rents a duchesshood and has Joe coach Beth on how to sound rich, but before Mr. James goes up on the block, Beth runs off with a limo driver, so Joe has to awkwardly bid on him instead.
- Spin City: Season 3, episode 14, "The Nutty Deputy Mayor" (1999). The "League of Large New Yorkers" challenges Mike to spend a day in a fat suit to understand their plight. When it's time for the big charity bachelor auction, Mike is about to take off the fat suit, but Stuart talks him out of it by telling he doesn't really understand what it's like to be fat because he never left the office. So Mike struts down the catwalk in the fat suit, and no one bids on him.
- Arrested Development: Season 1, episode 5, "Charity Drive" (2003). In a rare occurrence of a bachelorette auction (I'm making an exception), Lindsay and Lucille put themselves on the auction block for charity, but Lindsay takes a tour of the wetlands first and shows up looking a hot mess and only getting a pity bid from Michael, and Buster, who was supposed to bid on his mom, shows up late and accidentally bids on Lucille 2 instead.
- Arrested Development: Season 2, episode 9, "Burning Love" (2005). Lindsay and Lucille once again join the charity bachelorette auction, and it's almost an exact repeat of the year before. Lindsay is a mess again, this time because Tobias accidentally shot her with a tranquilizer, thinking she was a wolf, and Lucille asks Gob to bid on her this time, but just like Buster, he bids on Lucille 2 instead.
