- Gilligan's Island: Season 1 episode 14, "Water, Water Everywhere" (1965). The castaways are running out of water, so the Howells don stereotypical Native American garb and attempt a rain dance that Mrs. Howell claims "worked last year in Yellowstone Park for the Cherokees." They conclude that it didn't work because Gilligan was nearby, and he's bad luck.
- Barney Miller: Season 7, episode 21, "The Rainmaker" (1981). Deitrich and Wojo arrest a man for starting a bonfire in Washington Square, and the man explains that he's a rainmaker, and he was hired by the city to make it rain.
- Bottom: Season 1, episode 5, "'s Up" (1991). While they're hanging out on the roof of the store they're supposed to be minding, Richie brags to Eddie that he's part Native American and knows a rain dance that really makes it rain. Eddie challenges him to prove it, so Richie does the dance, and later, when they're trapped out on the roof, it starts to rain.
