- Murphy Brown: Season 2, episode 17, "Frankly Speaking" (1990). Phil decides to name sandwiches after the FYI gang, and Murphy is disgusted when she discovers her sandwich is "tongue on rye with spicy mustard."
- Just Shoot Me!: Season 3, episode 9, "How Nina Got Her Groove Back" (1998). Jack wants something named after him, so Finch gets the Carnegie Deli to name a sandwich the "Jack Gallo," but all he could get was a pita with watercress and avocado, which used to be called the "Liberace."
- Curb Your Enthusiasm: Season 5, episode 1, "The Larry David Sandwich" (2005). Jeff tells Larry that a local delicatessen has named a sandwich after him, and Larry is excited until Jeff tells him what's in the sandwich: whitefish, sable, capers, onions, and cream cheese. He's so disgusted that he tries to get one of the other celebrities to switch sandwiches with him.
