Neighborhood Watch
The gang forms or joins a neighborhood watch group, usually after getting spooked by a robbery, and things don't go as planned.
The Odd Couple
Appearances
- The Odd Couple: Season 4, episode 21, "New York's Oddest" (1974). Felix is upset by the apparent indifference of New Yorkers to people in danger, and Oscar agrees after he gets mugged, so they join the NYPD's "civilian patrol" to help keep the city safe.
- ALF: Season 2, episodes 17-18, "Someone to Watch Over Me" (1988). After several homes in the neighborhood are robbed, including the Ochmoneks', the Tanners join their neighbors in forming a neighborhood watch, and Willie is elected block captain.
- Just Shoot Me!: Season 5, episode 17, "Where's Poppa?" (2001). To keep Elliot from kicking him out of his apartment, Finch pretends they got robbed, but his plan backfires when Elliot becomes paranoid, keeps him up all night and makes him join the neighborhood watch and patrol the streets until 3am with a grumpy old man.
- It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia: Season 3, episode 14, "Bums: Making a Mess All Over the City" (2007). After they catch a homeless man masturbating outside the bar, the gang decides to take action. Mac and Sweet Dee join the neighborhood watch, but they're not happy just watching, so they go rogue, don uniforms based on the "Guardian Angels," and roam the city with a baseball bat.
