Accidental Porno
One or more characters are excited about participating in shooting a film only to find out it's actually a porno. Usually they agree to let the filmmakers shoot in their home or office.

- The Odd Couple: Season 4, episode 9, "Felix Directs" (1973). Felix wants to make a movie about Oscar, and Oscar introduces him to a filmmaker friend of his, who wants to combine it with a movie he's making about a "Swedish stewardess." They start shooting the film at Oscar and Felix's apartment, and it quickly becomes evident that it's a porno.
- Sanford and Son: Season 2, episode 24, "Rated X" (1973). Lamont, Fred, and Rollo audition for an independent film, thinking they'll be discovered and become movie stars, but the movie turns out to be a porno.
- Just Shoot Me!: Season 5, episode 13, "The Proposal: Part 2" (2001). While watching Jack's new satellite TV, Finch stops on a pornographic movie and recognizes the set as Jack's office. Nina confesses to him that she allowed a director to shoot what he said was a corporate film in Jack's office for money, but the film turned out to be a porno. Finch takes advantage of the situation to get the director to shoot his script.
- Malcolm in the Middle: Season 4, episode 13, "Stereo Store" (2003). Francis lets a film crew shoot "an independent film" at the ranch, and Otto and Gretchen are super psyched about it, especially when they offer a walk-on role to Gretchen, but when Francis recognizes one of the actors, he realizes they're shooting a porno.
