• The Dick Van Dyke Show: Season 3, episode 32, "Teacher's Petrie" (1964). Laura takes a writing class, and the teacher heaps praise upon her mediocre writing. Rob thinks the teacher wants to meet Rob to get his foot in the door of show business, but it turns out the teacher wants Laura.
• The Dick Van Dyke Show: Season 5, episode 6, "Draw Me a Pear" (1965). Rob and Laura take an art class, and Laura suspects the teacher is hitting on Rob, but he doesn't believe it. Soon Laura's suspicions are proven right.
• The Mary Tyler Moore Show: Season 2, episode 4, "Room 223" (1971). Mary takes a TV news writing class, and the teacher asks her out, then gives her a disappointing grade.
• Soap: Season 2, episode 8 (1978). When Mary decides to go to college, her English professor drives her home and gets into the house by asking for aspirin, then tries to make out with her.
• It's a Living: Season 1, episode 9, "Making the Grade" (1981). Jan goes on a date with her economics professor and has a terrible time. When she tells him she doesn't want to go out with him again, he tells her if she doesn't sleep with him, he's going to flunk her.
• Newhart: Season 2, episode 11, "Jug of Wine, Loaf of Bread & Pow" (1984). When Joanna joins Stephanie at a poetry reading at Dartmouth, the professor gets a little too friendly with her. Stephanie and Dick believe he's hitting on her, but Joanna's convinced he just shares her love of poetry. The next day, Joanna realizes Stephanie and Dick were right when the professor asks her to go away for the weekend, and when she declines, he proposes a "nooner."
• Too Close for Comfort: Season 6, episode 8, "Educating Lisa" (1986). Lisa starts going to night school so she can become an American citizen, but after her first night, she tells Henry and Muriel that she wants to quit. After some prodding, she tells them it's because the teacher put his hands on her and he "wants to fool around."
• The Golden Girl: Season 1, episode 20, "Adult Education" (1986). Blanche is struggling with her psychology class, so she asks her professor for help, and he says he'll only pass her if she sleeps with him.
• Night Court: Season 8, episode 2, "A Family Affair: Part 2" (1990). A tutor helping Harry study to pass a high school history test tells him he doesn't have to take the test if he sleeps with her.
• ALF: Season 4, episode 16, "True Colors" (1990). Lynne shows Alf's paintings to her art teacher, pretending they're hers. The teacher seems to think they're genius, but eventually he admits he's just saying that because he wants Lynne to go out with him.
