This is round five of The Ultimate Sitcom Actor Tournament. For rules, point values, and other information, see the introduction.
In round four, Bernie Kopell and Lucille Ball defended their titles against William Windom and Elinor Donahue. In round five, they’ll go up against Phil Leeds and Florence Stanley.
Phil Leeds
While he may never have been the star of a show, Phil Leeds appeared in just about every sitcom I can think of from the 60s to the 90s, including The Dick Van Dyke Show, Car 54 Where Are You?, The Patty Duke Show, The Odd Couple, Barney Miller, Alf, The Golden Girls, Night Court, The Larry Sanders Show, Dream On, and Wings to name a few. He continued acting right up until he passed away in 1998 at the age of 82.

She started with a regular role on the short-lived Joe and Sons, then a recurring role as Bernice Fish in Barney Miller, which led to a regular role in the spin-off, Fish. She went on to regular roles on My Two Dads and Dinosaurs as well as many other recurring roles and guest appearances until she passed away in 2003 at 79 years old.
