This Dragnet-style police comedy follows Sgt. Frank Drebin, a cop in a surreal town where everything's a pun and most conversations sound like Abbott and Costello sketches. While the show was short-lived, it inspired the wildly popular Naked Gun franchise.

- Monkeying Around: Episode 3, "The Butler Did It" (1982). Frank has been investigating crimes at the zoo, and he picked up a suspect, which turned out to be a chimpanzee. Later, the chimp destroys the precinct while Frank and Capt. Hocken are freeze-framed.
- Raging Bull&@!: Episode 3, "The Butler Did It" (1982). Frank's investigation of a mob that's fixing boxing matches causes a boxer's girlfriend to get kidnapped, so Frank has to solve the case in time to save her.
