- The Shrine: Episode 5, "To Kill a Mocking Alan" (1997). Alan meets a fan of his named Jed, who lets him pretend they're roommates so two Irish TV executives won't know he lives in a hotel, but Alan's shocked to find that Jed has a whole room packed with Alan Partridge memorabilia.
Season 2
- Tax Audit: Episode 5, "I Know What Alan Did Last Summer" (2002). Alan is selected for a random tax investigation, and he asks Lynne to lie to them for him, but she's reluctant because she's a Baptist. To make matters worse, the inspectors show up early, and Sonja comes home unexpectedly and starts ranting about not paying taxes.
