This is Your Life

The gang puts on a This is Your Life type show for a character. Usually they bring out people the character barely knows or doesn't know at all.

The Odd Couple

Appearances

• The Odd Couple: Season 3, episode 10, "Oscar's Birthday" (1972). Felix calls Oscar's mother to get information about Oscar's past so he can put on a This is Your Life
show for his birthday.
• Are You Being Served?: Season 5, episode 3, "Founder's Day" (1977). For Mr. Grace's 80th birthday, the staff put on a spoof of This is Your Life
called "Here is Your Department," chronicling Mr. Grace's rise from a fish monger to president of Grace Brothers.
• America 2 Night: Episode 16, "The Condensed Bible" (1978). Barth and Jerry put on a makeshift This is Your Life
show for Jim Nabors with people he doesn't know.
• Mork & Mindy: Season 4, episode 15, "I Don't Remember Mama" (1982). To help Mork recover his memory, Mearth puts on a show called "This Was Your Life" and invites his family and friends to share stories of their life with him.
• The Simpsons: Season 10, episode 2, "The Wizard of Evergreen Terrace" (1998). Homer learns that the man's lifespan is 76.2 and gets depressed because he's middle aged. To cheer him up, the family throws him a "Welcome to Your Life" party, where they play a film of some of his greatest moments.
• The Sifl & Olly Show: Season 2, episode 9 (1999). In an attempt to embarrass him, Olly surprises Sifl with a fake This is Your Life on the show, but it backfires and ends up embarrassing Olly.
