On this day in 1981, movie heartthrob, Patrick Swayze, appeared in the M*A*S*H season nine episode, “Blood Brothers,” as a young soldier who finds out he has leukemia when he attempts to donate blood to his dying friend.
1995: MC Hammer Appears on Martin
On this day in 1995, rapper MC Hammer guest starred as himself on Martin in the episode “C.R.E.A.M.,” in which Martin (Martin Lawrence) and Gina (Tisha Campbell) open a popular restaurant called “Marty Mart’s Meatloaf & Waffles.”
1998: Murphy Brown Celebrates Her 50th Birthday with American Bandstand
