Pyramid Scheme: Episode 2, "The Interview" (2003). Toni invites Jeremy over, and he thinks they're going to have sex, but instead, she gives him her sales pitch for a pyramid scheme, which she claims is "definitely not pyramid selling," and Jeremy is so impressionable that he buys in right away.
Season 2
Green Card: Episode 6, "Wedding" (2004). Nancy asks Jeremy to marry her so she can stay in the country. Jeremy is head-over-heels in love with Nancy, so he enthusiastically says yes, and even though Nancy tells him that it won't be a real marriage, he's convinced he can still make it work.
Season 3
12 Angry Men: Episode 5, "Jurying" (2005). Jeremy gets jury duty and accidentally runs into the defendant in a cafe and starts dating her, so he starts trying to convince the rest of the jury that she's innocent. When he finds out that she commits crimes on a regular basis, even though she is innocent of the crimes she was charged with, Jeremy convinces the rest of the jury to vote guilty.
Season 4
School Reunion: Episode 4, "Handyman" (2007). Mark is invited to his high school reunion. He's dreading seeing all of his old bullies again, but he's still obsessed with Sally, his high school crush, so even though he's engaged to Sophie, he decides to go, and of course, Jeremy tags along.
Season 5
We Were Robbed: Episode 1, "Burgling" (2008). Mark and Jeremy come home from a double date to find that their apartment has been robbed. Later, after a solo date, Mark comes home to find the burglar had returned, and in an unusual move, Mark wrestles him to the ground and holds him prisoner while he waits for the police to arrive.
Sure, I'll Join Your Cult: Episode 6, "Mark's Women" (2008). Jeremy and Super Hans take a "personality test" at a place called "The New Wellness Center" for a laugh, and end up joining them. Jeremy shows Mark the book they gave him and tells him about "the seven sacred truths from the golden tablets found in the asteroid which crashed in Siberia in 1911," Mark realizes right away that it's a cult, and he tries to talk him out of going to live at the center.
Season 6
Reluctant Hero: Episode 6, "Das Boot" (2009). At Elena and Gail's engagement picnic, Jeremy goes on a boat ride with Gail, and when she tells him she can't swim, he starts thinking about pushing her into the lake. Moments later, she stands up and falls out of the boat. In a panic, Jeremy pulls her out of the water. Later, at their party, Elena makes a toast to Jeremy and hails him as a hero, but Jeremy can't enjoy the adulation because he thinks it was his thoughts that killed her.
Season 7
Trapped: Episode 4, "Nether Zone" (2010). Jeremy is in Zahra's apartment while no one's home, and Mark meets him there. When they get to the front door of the building, they discover it's been double-locked, and they can't get out. They find Zahra's spare key and go back into her apartment, but Ben is on his way home, and he won't be pleased to find them there, sot they hide in the bathroom and end up getting trapped in the shower.
Season 8
Vanity Press: Episode 2, "Business Secrets of the Pharaohs" (2012). Mark has finally gotten around to written some of his book, "Business Secrets of the Pharaohs," and he's even found a publisher—or so he thinks. The publisher, BL Books (the BL stands for "British London"), turns out to be a vanity press that charges Mark $2,000 and delivers piss poor printouts with no editing, missing chapters, part of the text disappearing into the spine, and his name misspelled on the cover.
Condo Board Coup: Episode 5, "Chairman Mark" (2012). Mark asks the building's freehold committee to fix a damp, mildew-covered wall in his bedroom, but they refuse, so when Mark hears that the chairman has stepped down, he runs to take his place and wins, then ends up spending the whole sinking fund to replace his wall.
Season 9
Homemade Wedding Vows: Episode 2, "Gregory's Beard" (2015). Super Hans gets married, and he and his bride, Molly, have composed their own vows. Super Hans's are most song lyrics, and Molly's reveal Super Hans's real name: Simon.
Unwanted Surprise Party: Episode 6, "Are We Going to be Alright?" (2015). Jeremy's turning 40 and feeling depressed, so he tells Mark not to throw him a surprise party, but right after Jeremy and Super Hans abduct April's husband, Angus, so Mark can go on a cruise with her, the doorbell rings, and the surprise party Jeremy didn't want goes on while Angus is tied up in Mark's bedroom.
